So ingredients quantities are according to that.
Ingredients for Paneer vegetables dum biryani recipe:-
- 1 cup Old Aged India Gate Basmati Rice
- 200 Grams Paneer
- 2 carrots, 2 potatoes, 1 small cauliflower, 1 cup peas, 6 to 8 green beans
- 3 onions, 1 tomato
- Good Enough water for boiling rice and 1 cup warm water for adding it in the veggies mixture masala
- Red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger garlic, green chilli paste, coriander powder,
- Biryani masala powder
- Mint leaves and coriander leaves
- Full Fat Curd
- 1 Javitri, 2 Bay Leaves, 2 inch Cinnamon Stick (1), 1 Black Cardamom Pod,
- 2 Green Cardamom Pods, 3 Cloves, 4 black Pepper Corns,
- 1 small tea spoon of Cumin Seeds, 1 Star Whole Spice
- Lemon

Easy Cooking Instructions for Paneer Vegetables Dum Biryani Recipe with Pictures:
Step 1:-
In a heavy bottomed pan, Add Half Cup of Oil,
Don’t worry, this is not much oil, we have to fry onions perfectly to make barista.
Then we will remove some oil, so don’t worry,
In a Heavy Bottomed Pan, Add Half Cup oil and heat it for 2 minutes on High Flame.
Then Add 3 Finely Chopped Slices of Onions in the Hot Oil and Cook Onion Slices until Turn Perfect Golden Brown Colour.
(in a half cup oil, for 3 onions sliced pieces, cook onion accordingly below timings:)
(4 minutes on high flames, first
5 minutes on medium flame,
8 minutes on low flame)
Try to stir in the pan occasionally, this way you can make perfect barista for your biryani,
Which is very important to give your biryani the deep flavour and sweetness to your biryani.
Make sure you don’t burn onions, or else, it will give you bitter taste.

Step 2:-
Now let’s make our own ginger garlic paste with fresh ingredients, for our Paneer Vegetables Dum Biryani Recipe.
- 2 inch size piece of Ginger
- 10 Garlic Cloves
- 4 Green Chillies
Now make Rough Paste of it using mixer grinder.
And use this freshly Grated Ginger and Garlic Paste in your Paneer Vegetables Dum Biryani Recipe.

Step 3:-
In a bowl add all these below vegetables:
- 2 fresh cube shape chopped Carrots
- 6 Green Beans (1.5 inch size cut)
- 2 Medium Sized of Cube Shape Cut Potatoes
- 1 Small Cauliflower Florets (like 10 to 12 florets)
- 1 Small Cup Fresh Peas
Add these 5 vegetables in a bowl.
Step 4:-
Now Add 200 Grams of Full Fat Curd (200 Grams = 1 Cup)
And then Add 1 Table Spoon of Salt,
Next Add Half Tea Spoon of Turmeric Powder in the Bowl
Next Add 1 Small Tea Spoon of Red Chilli Powder
Then Add 1 Tea Spoon of Biryani Masala Powder, (recipe is below down)
Now Add 1 Full Table Spoon of Freshly Grated Ginger, Garlic and Green Chillies Paste, which we have prepared in the 2nd step.
Next add half quantity of Golden Brown Fried Onion in the Bowl (Barista), which we have prepared in the 1st step.
Other half fried onions, we will use in the 12th step.
Lastly Add Fresh Finely Chopped Coriander and Mint Leaves in the Bowl.
Step 5:-
Now mix everything (step 3 and 4 all the ingredients) and marinade this for at least 30 minutes.
Step 6:-
Now let’s prepare our fluffy, soft and non-sticky steamed rice for our Paneer Vegetables Dum Biryani Recipe.
So for that, in a big bowl:
- Add 1.5 Litres of water in a bowl,
- Next add 1 Table Spoon of Salt in the Boiling Water
- Next Add 1 whole Lemon Slices,
- Then Add whole Spices Like:
- 1 Javitri
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 2 inch Cinnamon Stick (1)
- 1 Black Cardamom Pod
- 2 Green Cardamom Pods
- 3 Cloves
- 4 black Pepper Corns
- 1 small tea spoon of Cumin Seeds
- 1 Star Whole Spice
Add all these ingredients and whole dry spices in water and boil it for at least 1 good boil comes in the water.
Step 7:-
Now add 1.5 cups perfectly 30 Minutes soaked India gate Basmati Rice in this boiling water,
And mix everything in the bowl and cook rice until 70% Cooked.
Once your rice are cooked to 70%, remove rice from the water and keep it aside, we will use this rice in 12th step.
Once done, now let’s move to the Next Step,
Step 8:-
Now in a separate heavy bottomed Cooking Bowl,
Add 4 Table Spoon of Oil, (you can use the oil, in which u have fry onions)
Now Add 200 Grams Paneer Cubes in this oil and shallow fry paneer cubes on high flame, until turn golden colour.
Once done, now remove paneer cubes from the oil and keep it aside,
We will use it later.
Step 9:-
Now in the same cooking bowl, in the same oil, in which we have shallow fried paneer, yess in this bowl,
Now Add That 30 Minutes Marinated Vegetables and other ingredients mix,
Add this Marinated vegetables In this hot oil,
Mix and Cook this Veggies for At least 4 to 5 minutes on medium flame.
Step 10:-
After 5 minutes, now add 1 Cup Warm Water in this veggies bowl
And now cover and cook for more 10 minutes on low flame.
Step 11:-
After 10 minutes of slow cooking this veggies mixture,
Now add those shallow fried paneer cubes in this bowl and mix and continue cooking on low flame,

Paneer Vegetables Dum Biryani recipe Layering Process:
So now, add 1 Fresh Red Tomatoes round Slices on top of this cooked vegetables mixture,
Next Add Some Fried Onions on top of this cooked vegetables mixture,
Then Add some fresh finely chopped mint and coriander leaves on top of this cooked vegetables mixture,
Lastly Add Those 70% Cooker Rice on Top of this cooked vegetables mixture,
Again layer the same again, like
Add Fried Onions like decoration or layering,
2 Table Spoon of Desi Ghee,
2 Table Spoon of Saffron Milk,
Some more fresh finely chopped coriander and mint leaves.
And now cover it with silver foil first, then cover the bowl with lid and Dum cook this for more 15 minutes on very low flame.
Step 13:-
After 15 minutes of slow cooking, now open the lid of your paneer vegetables dum biryani recipe and give it final gentle mix,
